Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP).I manage the site specific operations of GEAR UP - focusing on College and Career information, academic success, educational pathway planning, and maintaining a positive college going culture.I manage seasonal and full time staff, expenses and purchasing, program development/implementation, and stakeholder involvement.

This position involves direct contact with potential participants. I make announcements in lectures, run informational sessions, expo at fairs and events, and hold meetings with key individuals at undergraduate campuses. Extensive independent travel across North America.

Responsible for sales leads entries, supplementing worldwide literature distribution, and maintaining literature stocks. Extensive independent work utilizing spreadsheet and database software for data collection, analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities included academic advising in biology/chemistry/physics, registration assistance, tours, and facilitating workshops with incoming freshman/transfer students and/or their parents.
