The >41 years of experience in the crop protection industry, with over 20 of those years as the direct interface working with Discovery R&D scientists and leaders to develop new active ingredients and products, have given me a unique understanding and global crop/pest perspective to help companies and Venture Capitalists find a path to greater probability of success.

After 20 years in New Business Development working on the interface between Discovery and Commercial Leadership, I led the Development of two global fungicide programs (Adavelt and one additional program). I was responsible for developing, with the help of an extraordinary team, new products that will enrich the lives of those who produce and those who product and those who consume, ensuring progress for generations to come.

This role was responsible for Discovery Goal development (future value proposition) and implementation with Discovery and Commercial business leadership. It involved establishing and maintaining a large network of business and technical leaders across the globe, which included collaborative efforts with external companies. Demonstrated skills include: strong global agronomic knowledge and issues awareness; understanding of market driving forces leading to future needs; building the value proposition; and experience and expertise in negotiations for technologies across multiple cultures. Results include the opportunity identification, development and launch of numerous crop protection products and traits with annual revenue value >$2.5BN annually, and growing.
