In order to achieve this, BP3 makes use of both commercial and Open Source products in a synergistic and complementary combination. I returned to BP3 explicitly to introduce an Open Source business unit to complement the selection of technologies available to BP3 customers. This was considered a necessary and important initiative due to the changing face of process solutions and the industry trends away from monolithic BPM suites.The introduction of these new technologies has been incredibly successful and opened BP3 to take on projects that beforehand would not have been possible.

Invisible Integration provides a framework for constructing complex data integrations within a "black box". Upgraded the Cosmic Ray data collection system to new equipment of my own design and construction.This work required a rewrite of portions of the core unix operating system to meet the realtime requirements of cosmic ray monitoring. The system remains in unattended operation at Mawson station to this day. Additional duties included maintenance of other scientific equipment at the station. Such as Ionosondes, magnetometers, seismic detectors and other high atmospheric physics equipment.
