Providing guidance on pathway to ISO20001/overall compliance strategy, deploying services in AWS including assisting with deployments using various AWS services and for the purpose of achieving more complete service reliability, planning for multi-account and multi-region distribution of services to manage risk.Also performed testing/quality assurance on frontend react app and backend GraphQL API leading up to the 2.0 release of their product in January. Developed a collection of backend https requests in Postman and worked with the primary backend and frontend architects/developers on deploying changes to staging, making data changes to support testing, asserting the product was working as intended as part of end-to-end testing in staging, and helped make go/no go decisions on releases to production.

Efforts focused on Situational Awareness solutions including Advanced Terrain functionality and Terrain Awareness and Warning Systems. Worked within DO-178B-based process with eventual initial exposure to DO-178C towards end of tenure.2006-2010 primary focus was on cabinet-based card that includes terrain data server with terrain data service protocol I designed as well as connection to Honeywell provided part that performed TAWS functionality based on ICD with Honeywell. Also designed overall maintenance interface for the Collins card and eventually redesigned software cold and warm boot approach to improve line and depot maintenance.

As 1099 or W2 contractor worked directly with entrepreneurs, F500, and SMBs on general purpose systems and Software EngineeringWorked with entrepreneur in Austin on building e-commerce framework for SMB play.Worked as Systems Engineer at Honeywell in Phoenix on two avionics suites for specific business jets in their Business, Regional, and General Aviation division. Followed DO-178B and supporting processes including configuration management and control, requirements analysis, bus data planning and scheduling, functional and integration testing.Worked as client boarding and reporting lead on Java technologies at JetPay in Addison.

Led software acceptance test effort of Trilogy Compensation solution for agents with Manulife.Led initial implementation team at Penn Life Insurance.

Director of Future Technologies for then DataLink/MortgageServ including planning for a re-presentation via web interface of 35 green-screen applications using a custom-developed screen-scraping system that used OpenConnect’s enterprise application server and embedded Java-based 3270 terminal software. Designed the meta-use cases that drove interactions with five distinct transaction monitors with distinct usage patterns, menu/navigation techniques, screen layout, and transaction posting patterns.

As Producer was project manager and lead of all Civilization-related product development including based in Austin including Civ2 “Network”/Civ3 (unreleased), and contributions to Civ2 Fantastic Worlds (credited “Special Thanks”).

Space Station Software Development Process and Tools Lead group I led selected the “rules, tools, and methods” intended to be used to develop flight software for Space Station Freedom. Worked offsite at Johnson Space Center in Houston on both Space Station Freedom and International Space Station.Also during this time led presentations to the NASA community and helped develop and present to the DoD a similar Software Engineering Environment that was Ada language centric.

Designed and implemented original AI0 implantation of IDEF0 methodology. Led project management with Printware as we raised contracting rates by 2x.
