Thirty-eight years of Information Technology experience! I began my Information Technology career in 1983 as an Air Force Telecommunications Specialist (Tech Controller). I’ve had a TS/SCI clearance and was a tech controller my entire active duty career; to include five years in Combat Communications, working exclusively with the special operations community. While on active duty I attained my undergrad and graduate degrees. Once I left active duty, (retired 2003), I worked for the US Army as an Information Technology Specialist and Cybersecurity Specialist. Most of my recent experience has been as an I.T. Cybersecurity Specialist and Customer Service Support Specialist and Network/Systems Administration. In my current position I am working for the US Air Force as a C4I Technical Planner.I also have experience with contracting serving as a Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR), and several years of project management working as a Project Coordinator for the 516th at Ft. Shafter. I have in depth knowledge of Cybersecurity, along with many aspects of software and hardware configurations, connectivity and functionality providing Command, Control, Communications and Computing (C4) along with VTC knowledge on multiple types of networks and systems. I am a proficient NIPR/SIPR administrator with active directory expertise.I have been an I.T. Specialist my entire career. I have attained vast array of information technology with a focus on cybersecurity from doing it for thirty-eight years. I work well with others and get along with ‘almost’ everyone. I am dedicated, mission focused and get the job done.
