The course's interesting layout, long, wide fairways and elevated tees provide a challenge to experienced golfers, while remaining forgiving to those with less experience.I took over the operations of the golf course in 2015 and worked with a trust overseeing the estate's assets. In two years the course has experienced a vast number of changes, including but not limited to, the improvement of the fairways, greens and sand traps, as well as, the implementation of a snack bar in the clubhouse and beverage cart on the course. I am proud of the progress my team and I have made in such a short amount of time and am tremendously thankful for the community's and member support. Show less

Henry Carr Farm was purchased to serve Father Henry Carr Secondary School as a haven for students to:- study nature- experience rural life- to learn the virtue of manual labour- to retreat from the pressures of city lifeThe farm houses five retired Roman Catholic Priests and is 98 acres with pastures for five Canadian horses. My role was to ensure the grounds (including livestock) of the property were attractive, orderly, and healthy.

While GM/Director of Golf we revamped the majority of Kitchen equipment. The air conditioning and heating units were purchased and installed. A new head golf professional was hired. Budgets were set and goals were put in place. Bi weekly meeting minutes and agendas were prepared and approved. Equipment for golf course maintenance was purchased and leases were signed and approved. In the year 2000, Nobleton Lakes Golf Club went from an 18 hole facility to 27 holes. Over the years I trained and mentored many golf professionals that went on to become Head Professionals at their own facility. My greatest achievements at Nobleton Lakes Golf Club were the many staff members that went on to become great contributing citizens on and off the golf course!

This was a great time for the golf industry. I was so proud to be part of this period of great growth in the game of golf. Golf Professionals were allowed to play with guests and member, it was a requirement! People cared about the game and how their pro could play and they loved to get out with him! The many characters in the game made it so interesting and prime for growth for players from every walk of life. Nobleton was a "Grey Collar" golf course and everyone seemed happy to be there!
