My business helps establish new mining projects by using my experience in engineering, feasibility studies, construction and operational optimisations. I have recently assisted Agrimin Limited to deliver a an outstanding DFS result for their world class Mackay Potash Project. We are now moving into FEED stage in parallel with funding activities.

At Scope I provided technical review and input on feasibility studies and detailed designs on various mineral processing projects in commodities such as graphite, tungsten, iron ore, bauxite, and mineral sands. I delivered a scoping study for a prospective manganese project and acted as owners project manager on an upgrade project for an established mineral sands operation.

In this role I used my experience in mineral processing plant design and iron ore beneficiation plant design to serve Mineral Technologies customers in Western Australia, South Australia and the Murray Basin. During this time I developed business relationships with a range of customers, understanding their needs and strategic objects and providing technology solutions to meet these objectives. It has been fantastic meeting so many great people in the Australian mining industry. My intention is to remain in contact and build on those relationships as I move on to new challenges.

I lead a design team of 60 designers and engineers to undertake studies, complete detailed design and construction support for mineral processing plants. Project highlights during this period include:- Murray Basin Douglas Project- Complete Design of the Snapper Floating Concentrator- Design of Upgrades to the Taboca Tin Mine in Brasil- Design and Constuction Support for Iron Baron Beneficiation Plant- Detailed design of the Grande Cote Mineral Sand ProjectDuring this period we established a design office in Adelaide to better serve our clients in this region.

The role involved developing a number of bulk materials handling projects in coal and other minerals, including significant involvement in the 6000tph rail unloading project and the Stockpile 15 development project.

As 2IC to the GM the role involved multi-faceted support for a range of business activities. A key aspect was design of new materials handling equipment and support for the manufacturing process.

The role involved undertaking mechanical designs for a number of industrial and mining clients.

Iscor is an integrated steelworks where I worked as a plant engineer at the coke making and blast furnace section.
