Accomplished mechanical engineer specialising in the design, modification project management, supervision, maintenance and commissioning of process plants and large infra-structure projects including the provision of feasibility and definitive studies for the same. Areas of expertise include power generation, boilers, sulphuric acid plants, materials handling plants, airborne pollution control, automated production lines, minerals processing plants, petrochemical refineries, pipelines, dams, bridges, water & wastewater treatment facilities and railways. A rare breed equally at home in the office as on the site with an excellent track record in the provision of clever solutions to complex problems. Has significant construction, experience and supervisory experience primarily engaged to undertake unusual, problematic and difficult projects but I also really enjoy straight forward jobs. Due to a decline in Mechanical projects and facilities with Australia, focus has increasingly shifted to larger civil and structural projects although my preference is for mechanical and process opportunities. Presently working as a Senior Production Engineer for Snowy Hydro at Khancoban. I would definitely consider a return to consulting, scoping, estimating or technical writing.
