Extensive knowledge of and experience with CFIUS proceedings, Trade Controls and Trade-related proceedings, including export controls (ITAR and EAR), sanctions regulations, Section 201 proceedings, AD/CVD cases (including scope rulings thereunder). Active also in corporate M&A due diligence, particularly with respect to Trade Controls and FCPA compliance. Assisted with numerous ITAR- and EAR-related license requests, classification rulings and TAA approvals, OFAC license requests, and drafting of Trade Control and FCPA compliance policies. Extensive involvement in antidumping and countervailing duty litigation, including CBP interactions and protests and scope ruling requests related to AD/CVD proceedings. Intimately involved in negotiation of major international trade agreement settling one of the largest unfair trade cases in history.
