After spending 28 years as a Manager for Home Depot I comfortably retired in 2018. They say the two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you discover why. It took 60 years for me to discover that my “why” was to pursue a passion to increase financial literacy and financial independence. Two weeks after retiring, at the age of 60, I enrolled in the University of Nevada Las Vegas. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Finance in 2020 and joined Westpac Wealth Partners that same year.Having experienced the 1973 Oil Embargo, 14.6% Inflation in 1980, Black Monday in 1987, the Dot Com Bubble in 2000, the 2008 Subprime Mortgage Crisis, and the Covid-19 Pandemic I gained a first-hand look at how a financial crisis can have a devastating effect on people’s lives.I believe nobody should be put in a position to lose their hard-earned savings, lose their home, or struggle to put food on the table. One of the biggest mistakes people make in life is taking for granted what they have today. I work with clients to protect their todays and save for their tomorrows. I strive to educate clients to put them in a position of financial independence having complete control of their finances and the independence to pursue their life goals.Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York I packed my belongings into the trunk of a Buick “Deuce and a Quarter” (Electra 225) and on September 19,1981 while Simon and Garfunkel played their epic free concert in Central Park that night, my best friend and I began our life-changing journey to the Left Coast. I spent twenty years in California where I met my wife Raquel and raised our two children Evan and Lindsay. We relocated to Las Vegas in 2014 where I spent my last four years with Home Depot.I'm always available to advise clients on managing their wealth or coach clients on accumulating wealth.
