Responsible for policies related to Edmonton's assessment and property tax system. To be completed in more detail over time.

My team is responsible for:- Allocating ~$1.5 billion in capital and operating grants to Alberta municipalities, including the Municipal Sustainability Initiative (MSI), the Gas Tax Fund (GTF), and the Small Communities Fund (SCF). - Measuring performance and ensuring accountability of grant programs offered by Municipal Affairs. - Administering the Tanksite Remediation Program, which provides grant funding the property owners to remediate contaminated properties.

Provide strategic advice to the Executive Director of the Assessment Services Branch on Alberta's property assessment and tax system. Coordinated and collaborated with assessment and tax experts, legislative experts and department lawyers to develop policy options and create decision documents for the review of the Municipal Government Act.

I coordinate the Alberta Official Statistics, respond to information requests, and otherwise set as much data free as possible.

Wrote research proposals, developed research plans, conducted all aspects of research and program evaluation projects, wrote and presented reports to clients.

Taught English to Japanese people of all ages.
