Part of our mission at Streamline VRS PMS is to provide API access to the data that our clients use on a daily basis. We developed a partner portal which allows clients and 3rd parties with access to our API's and the specific clients data. My role is to resolve API support tickets created by our partners. We understand that not all developers are familiar with the short term vacation rental space and the portal provides API documentation to help understand how to use the specific API methods to help them provide value to our mutual clients. The role of supporting PartnerX is rewarding because we are able to support developers on how to use our API methods and in some cases provide improvements to our API responses to help fulfill an emergent need seen by our clients. It is a dynamic process and we are constantly improving our API methods as needed.

At Streamline VRS an enterprise level PMS or Property Management System, integrations with 3rd party vendors offer our clients tools which are specialized elsewhere such as home automation, email delivery, data analysis.My role in providing Amazon SES integrations with our clients supports our efforts to provide seamless and Inbox delivery of all documents created by Streamline's clients. I lead this mission critical integration for all Streamline clients to enable them to send via Amazon SES. In addition, as email lead I help onboard new clients and troubleshoot Email Service Provider connections with Streamline as a 3rd party application to IMAP clients emails back into Streamline where communications is relevant and manageable. Through my role, we have reduced email bounce rates, and increased successful Inbox delivery.As part of Streamline VRS dedication to help our clients maximize efficiencies, I support the onboarding and troubleshooting of home automation keyless entry for guests through services such as Point Central, Dorma Kaba, Behome247, Lynx, Remote Lock.As with my other roles working on the front lines is rewarding because the impact is dramatic and a effective for our clients to conduct their business with a high degree of confidence.

As Product Manager for our mission critical plugin, my role is the driver of our Wordpress based platform that helps power our vacation rental websites which utilize our Streamline-core Wordpress Plugin. Harnessing the worlds most powerful property management API, I manage the integration between our API and our world class proprietary plugin and assure that it provides a robust and powerful experience for both our clients and their customers. Working with senior programmers and developers, I keep my ears to the ground always listening to our clients and their needs, and manage those needs into a product delivery process where we roll out improvements to our plugin with version updates.Scaling our incredible growth is what makes the role of product manager both exciting and challenging. We are at the leading edge of product innovation for vacation property managers throughout the world. As a result, scaling of our plugin has become a secondary role of managing the plugins features and functions.Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Drive innovation throughout the company. • Work with internal and external stakeholders to define a product roadmap. • Research and understand customer requirements, operational impacts and needs, competitive offerings, cases from Customer Support, and translate these into feature specs or product improvements. • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints • Gather user feedback and insights. • Work with engineering team to translate specs to shippable products. • Give feedback to designers and engineers. • Communicate feature releases to users. • Working with the other teams to ensure a high degree of consistency in how the company and the product are represented.

To maintain high quality of websites that our plugin is installed in, Streamline offers fully managed web hosting to our clients. I manage the launching of the websites in our dedicated server environment and maintain the sites and the server function so it delivers enterprise level performance and experience to the hundreds of thousands of requests our plugin receives each day. This roles feeds back into my product manager role by watching how our plugin scales in the high demand environment of web service providing me insight into where we can improve our plugin efficiency.

Our source of plugin features and improvements is client centric. This requires me to be involved on a daily basis with clients through our support ticketing system.I am the primary face of our web and plugin support system. I work with clients on a daily basis to resolve their plugin and website issues related to the plugin function. Using a ticket system, allows me to manage hundreds of requests each week while providing me with a wealth of information to fuel our plugin development and it’s improvements. This role provides the early knowledge of trends and upcoming needs which loops back into my role as product manager. The two roles go hand in hand to continuously build out our suite of pre-package API calls.

Working and living in Jaco Beach Costa Rica was a choice and DayStay Properties offered the dream job of working on the beach. I was blessed to be working for the largest property management company in Costa Rica at the time as well as the largest beachfront developer in Costa Rica. Their sole focus was building luxurious, privately owned condos which would then participate in the first of its kind rental revenue pool. At the time, these were called condo-hotel units but today we know them as short term vacation rentals.Originally hired to manage the reservation team and the marketing initiatives and then assumed more responsibilities to become Operations Manager. Overseeing, the hiring and training of the reservations team, overseeing day to day operations of guest stays, housekeeping, owner relations, and tour desk development. Eventually, assumed the role of IT Manager and began to update RMS system and physical assets such as main server and remote front desk systems as well as main office phone and internal network.As Operations Manager I oversaw the completion of 2 projects Diamante Del Sol and The Palms to bring them online and add their units to our rental inventory.
