A portfolio comprising 70 team members in Brisbane with direct reports including four Delivery Managers, two Principle Architects, and a Project Manager.• Reporting to the EGM of Suncorp’s Digital & Insurance Tech Business Unit.• The Suncorp Digital Identity platform teams manage all customer and internal (Staff, Partners & Consultants) identity and access management profiles.• Management of Active Directory, RSA Token, DNS and Certificate renewal systems.• Security and governance of Suncorp’s internal and external API Gateway platforms (Axway and AWS), which host all Suncorp’s API assets and servicing over 10 million API calls per day.• Two java development teams who create support over 30 API assets called by the Suncorp APP and the integration point of all Suncorp OLO capabilities.• Creation of business case, funding requests, and holding leadership events and well and reporting on Project delivery to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Leading Digital Correspondence & (Customer) Assisted Channels portfolios – comprising 180 team members located across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Chengdu (China), and Bangalore (India).• Direct reports include five Delivery Managers, three Architects & Project Managers.• The Digital Correspondence platforms ingest and distribute 90% of all Digital Correspondence received and delivered to Suncorp Customers, uses advanced capabilities such as complex Optical Character Recognition and developing customer insights using Machine Learning for correspondence classification processing and delivers enriched and personalised electronic notifications. • (Customer) Assisted Channels maintains the Software assets which are used by Stores and Contact Center staff when engaging directly with customers, assets include – Customer Work Bench Knowledge, Customer Workbench, Quick Assist, KYC and Marketplace API development.• Leading the Suncorp TDL engagement for Digital Correspondence across lines of business e.g. Contact Centres, Bank and Insurance• Direct involvement the Delivery of Suncorp strategic initiatives.• Providing strategic direction to the Portfolios(s) and the business, to assist strategic business thinking and defining technology solutions for opportunities that exist in the business.• Ensuing that people management and resourcing profiles are appropriated to the changing needs of the digital environment.• Building a culture of professionalism and accountability within a team of leaders.

The focus of the team was to lead Database strategy, define and execute DBMS roadmaps for our DBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2) and ensure effective delivery of internal customer projects and BAU activities. The team of 24 DBA's where geographically distributed across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.The team had a significant focus on AWS Cloud Services, specifically running databases on EC2 and RDS and assisting with strategies to migrate over 5000 databases to a Cloud Architecture.
