    Greg joined Detica in November 2008, having graduated that summer from the University of Leeds with a 1st Class Master of Physics degree. The degree incorporated a wide range of subjects such as general relativity, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics and electromagnetism. A large proportion of the course was devoted to pure mathematics as well, which was taught to a high level. In the final year, Greg specialised in computer simulations of molecular dynamics, using the Fortran programming language on a Unix based system. Over the 4 years at Detica, Greg worked with the NetReveal suite of products, using them to help clients detect and prevent a wide range of fraud, including insurance fraud, first/third party banking fraud and various types of trading fraud. This led to an in-depth knowledge of fraud MOs, all aspects of the NetReveal software and the technologies used to support it (technologies listed below). General consulting skills were also developed through work on these projects, including well honed client-facing, project management and team leadership skills. Greg led teams to successful deliveries on a number of projects, with experience of pilots, A&D phases and implementations. He also worked with clients from a number of different countries around the world, including a number of stints working in the US.
