Gregs law practice at Larkin Hoffman was very diverse with a the natural and built environment as a common element and government regulatory interaction as a central theme. It was generally environmental, real estate transactions, local and state goverment permiting, land use and regulatory affairs. Greg's approach is to use a solid knowledge of environmental conservation and pollution management to enable advocacy on behalf of client interests.

My law practice is located at the intersection of government and business where I represent businesses governments and individuals seeking sollutions to regulatory problems with a focus on environmental and natural resources issues. A significant segment of this work is for the mineral products industry with clients in the industrial sands (including"frac" sand) dimension stone, construction aggregates (sand and gravel, crushed rock) and related industries. I also have extensive experience in the solid waste industry having been instrumental in the development of regional waste processing facilities, landfill cleanups and the consolidation of the waste collection and disposal industry in the Minnesota and Wisconsin market.

Greg recently completed a 3 year term as National Law Officer of the U. S. Power Squadrons, a vollunteer organization of over 35,000 members dedicated to advanced recreational boating education and waterway safety. Now as a Past Rear Commander Greg serves on the Government adn PArtner Relations Committee where his work includes development adn esscution of a national lobbying program in support of the USPS mission.

TwinWest Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for business and acts as the voice of businesses in the Western Suburbs of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) and represents its members interests in growing their businesses and improving their communities. The Board provides policy guidance to the organization. Greg served on the Board for 6 years and was Chair in 2012.

Friendship Ventures provides respite camping experiences for persons with disabilities and related programs. The Board guides the operation and development of the program, staffing and facilites.

Elected in 1978 at age 26; Re-elected in 1982. Representing the people of the state of Minnesota prosecuting crimes and providing legal advice to the government of Isanti County at a time when it was one of the fastest growing communities in the state and home to three Superfund Sites.
