I attended Northcentral Technical College from 2010-2012 with a Machine tool technics diploma and was the outstanding graduate in my class. I started my machining career in while in college at a conveyor company setting up and operating a CNC vertical mill. In 2014 I took the opportunity to move to Waukesha, WI and run a 5 axis DMG/Mori-Seki mill/turn CNC machine. It required a very advanced and high skill level to set up and operate. I had never ran this type or complex of a machine but I believed in myself and successfully made high performance custom tools for major tooling manufactures such as Seco, Sandvik , Walter, Iscar and other smaller tooling companies. It was a short lived job because I was presented with another opportunity in 2015, this time in Whitewater, WI. I thought it was a better fit for me and my career so I started there running production jobs as a CNC operator for companies such as Harley-Davidson, Milwaukee Tool, Husco and Bobcat-Doosan. Within seven years I progressed to the top machinist position at the company, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Class III Machinist. Being from a small town and growing up on a farm has taught me many life skills especially coping with unpleasant tasks, fixing problems as they arise, and to have a positive attitude, which is especially important in machining. In 2022 I had just gotten married and wanted to move back closer to my hometown with my wife. At 33 years of age I seized the chance to become my own boss and became the co-owner of Alpha Wire EDM along with my brother in law, Here at Alpha Wire EDM we use CNC mills, lathes and wire EDM to build high quality products.
