NOIA is the national trade association representing all segments of the offshore industry with an interest in the exploration and production of both traditional and renewable energy resources on the U.S. OCS. The NOIA membership comprises more than 325 companies engaged in a variety of business activities, including production, drilling, engineering, marine and air transport, offshore construction, equipment manufacture and supply, telecommunications, finance and insurance, and renewable energy. The focus of the Technology Policy Committee is on government policy relative to technical systems that support the offshore industry. It is the mission of the committee to keep NOIA members informed of new developments and to influence appropriate government authorities to accommodate the technological requirements of the industry.
