I was engaged to establish and manage Treasury, Insurance and Credit functions under independent operation and to facilitate and implement the IPO strategy.Having successfully established long-term fleet planning processes, completed foreseeable aircraft acquisitions and restructured primary financing arrangements at Virgin, I was attracted to Rio Tinto by the strategic challenge of turning around the Pacific Aluminium business and taking it to IPO.
