Greg is a senior project manager and water resource engineer with more than 30 years analyzing surface water resources and managing stormwater runoff. His surface water experience includes floodplain delineation, shoreline protection, streambank stabilization, wetland mitigation, and habitat improvements for physical settings ranging from arctic coast of Alaska to arroyos of Baja Mexico. His stormwater experience includes designs for transportation projects including highways, airports, and marine terminals. It includes residential, commercial, and industrial developments, mining projects, waste management facilities, contaminated sites from California to New Jersey, and military facilities.In addition, his design experience benefits from extensive work in the field, from stream flow and water quality sampling, through construction inspection and management. Greg has designed and provided construction support services for mitigation projects to create estuaries, protect shorelines, stabilize streambanks, and restore fish habitats.Greg has completed WSDOT’s training in the Highway Runoff Manual, and has completed Washington State University and Puget Sound Partnership’s training in Low Impact Development. He attended the River Restoration short-course in Provence, France and regularly attends local workshops and meetings for sustainable stormwater, floodplain management, and sediment management.Greg has presented several of his projects at conferences across the country for organizations including International Conference on Ecology and Transportation, American Water Resources Association, Association of State Flood Plain Managers, and River Restoration Northwest. He has lectured on water resource topics at the University of Washington and Purdue University.
