Economic Development Manager
Involved in all aspects of economic development and redevelopment projects for the City of Rialto and Redevelopment Agency, from site selection, property acquisition, brownfield assessment/ clean up, planning and entitlement processing for various public, commercial, retail and industrial projects.While at the City of Rialto, I was involved in:1) the planning, closure and redevelopment of the Rialto Municipal Airport (only FAA closure of a Municipal Airport in the US.2) the planning and redevelopment of 1,500 acre Renaissance Rialto Specific Plan area. (16M sf of Industrial, 1.5 M sf Retail/ Commercial, 1,600 du Residential)3) the acquisition of real estate for site assemblages and right-of-way for various public Infrastructure Project.4) Entitlement Processing, including environmental site assessment, remediation and and CEQA compliances for City Projects and large private commercial and industrial projects.and Disposition of City/Redevelopment Agency Real Estate 4) Various Site Assemblages for Industrial Development with Panattoni, ProLogis, Hillwood, Lewis5) Various Land and Site Assemblage for City and Redevelopment Agency Projects (In'N Out, Wal-Mart, Renaissance Rialto, I-210 Easton "CrackerBarrel")6) Negotiating numerous Owner Participation Agreement (OPA) / Development Disposition Agreement with Developers fro development of over 10 million square feet of Industrial warehouse development7) Development and Implementation of City’s Development Impact Fee Programs, including preparation of Annual AB1600 Compliance Reports.8) Business and Developer Assistance to expedite permits and entitlement.9) Marketing of City and Development Sites through various media and interaction with Brokers and Developers at various organization and conferences such as NAIOP and ICSC. and Marketing Brokers and Developers
