As yard estimator I am a commercial representative to the customers and simultaneously handle all subcontractors aspect. My current duties can be categorized in four sections:Clients• Daily contact with client• Preparation of quotations based on specification• Site inspection• Daily meetings with client and technical departments• Providing technical and commercial advises for additional work• Preparation of tenders with quotations• Getting approvals of prepared tenders• Preparation of budget updates based on agreed scope of work• Preparation of final invoice for project• Handling claims• Final discussion of the invoice

Subcontractors• Bids preparation with technical departments based on actual requirements• Contact with contractors via phone / fax / email• Gathering quotation• Evaluate tender and quotation responses• Negotiate contractual terms and agreements with successful suppliers• Make recommendation for award of contract• Assigning subcontractors• Open / edit / close Purchase Orders as per procedure• Monitoring subcontractors activities• Calling and leading meetings to resolve arising problems• Invoice discussion and acceptance Yard internal duties• Overall management and leadership of assigned contracts• Assistance in preparation of work list with project team• Acceptance on material requisitions• Preparation of sales projection• Preparation of cost projection• Analyze and manage commercial risk to the projects• Assist with communication between project team and subcontractors to deliver service according to project schedule• Provide technical leadership, expertise, advice and support to the contracts and project team in negotiating, establishing and administrating awarded contract.• Gathering, updating and storing of project documentation• Man hours update and control• Subcontractor registration and evaluation• Reporting to managers and update with critical items• Ensure continuous improvement of contract management processes, policies, procedures and systems• Attendance in yard production / commercial meetings• Providing training / coaching new employeesYard external activities• Conference attendance• Meeting client in their offices• Visiting subcontractor workshops

As project manager I was commercial yard representative in contacts with clients. Main duties are:• Budgeting and invoicing• Tender preparation• Communication with clients• Follow up on new enquiry • Preparation of VO and price negotiation with clients• Acceptance of additional works

As SRM I was working as yard representative and production coordinator on board the vessel with main duties as follows:• Leading initial meeting with vessel superintendent• Ship inspection on anchorage• Coordination and planning of production resources• Leading daily production and safety meetings with client• Technical problems solving and proposing new solutions• Coordination between Yard, client, class societies, service engineers and paint representatives• Assisting to clients with work progress inspection at workshops• Preparation of work schedule for vessel’s delivery
