About Greg Leamon

Since starting out in 1980, I've worked as a geophysicist, engineer and business manager for a variety of companies, research entities, national governments, and multinational organisations. Recently, I led a project to publish a Technical Specification for Standards Australia, "SA TS 5373: Carbon dioxide capture, transportation and geological storage (CCS): quantification and verification of emission reductions", on 2nd December 2022. I continue to be a member of several working groups drafting international standards for ISO Technical Committee 265: carbon dioxide capture, transportation and geological storage. I'm still one of five technical members of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change's Clean Development Mechanism CCS Working Group. I continue to publish, and peer review papers submitted for scientific journals addressing energy and environmental policy.
