As the night editor on the Daily Mail newspaper sports desk, I am regularly in charge of the sports section for second edition, as well as for late-night slip editions. I am experienced in reacting to breaking news stories and have to oversee changes in a short space of time. I liaise with reporters and often have to redesign pages. I have experience across print and digital, having initially joined the Daily Mail in 2014 as part of the Mail+ app team. Prior to becoming night editor on the newspaper sports desk, I was a sub-editor, then a revise sub-editor.

I was in charge of the content and layout of the sports section six days a week. I managed a team of 25 reporters and columnists. I oversaw many projects, including a pullout for the 2010 World Cup. I attended Premier League matches every week and wrote reports for both the newspaper and website. I also set up and was the ghostwriter of a weekly column for England and Arsenal footballer Alex Scott. This was her first column in a national newspaper. In my role I oversaw an increase in the coverage of women’s football and also interviewed big names from across the sporting world.

In August 2006 I became the Watford correspondent for the Morning Star newspaper, reporting on the club's season in the Premier League, while also writing a weekly football column. I also carried out work for the Glasshouse Partnership, editing discussion papers, and worked for TMW - an advertising agency on the King's Road - for three months. At TMW, I wrote direct mail and worked on big campaigns, such as Lloyds TSB's 'For the Journey'. The Official Arsenal Club magazine was a publication I produced articles for during this time.

I worked for a year as an assistant English teacher in a high school in the Japanese countryside. In my role, I planned lessons, assisted the teachers in class and also helped students in a one-on-one capacity. I was also tasked with writing the end-of-year English exam. Moreover, I planned and led smaller classes for the school's top English students.
