Boardwalk (Texas Gas) Western Kentucky Lateral Pipeline Project (2016). Provided Inspection services for the compliance of environmental requirements including the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and FERC's Upland Erosion Control (SWPPP), Revegetation and Maintenance Plan and Wetland and Waterbody Construction and Mitigation Procedures and the requirements of FERC's Plans and Procedures. In addition, All State regulatory agencies’ and USACE requirements were monitored closely for compliance. The 22-mile natural gas, 24”-diameter pipeline was constructed within Muhlenberg County, KY. Louisiana and Texas. (Environmental Inspector). Phillips 66 Sweeny Midstream Pipelines and Beaumont to Lake Charles (BLC) Pipeline Projects (2014-2015). Provided environmental compliance inspection by implementing the Construction Mitigation and Restoration Plans, the Storm water Pollution Prevention Plans for Louisiana and Texas for Environmental Protection Agency's 2012 Construction General Permit, and the Spill Prevention, Containment and Countermeasure Plans. The Sweeny project included construction of multiple lines (four to seven – over 57 miles) in SE Texas. The 50-mile BLC project included construction of a 30” single line crossing a wide variety of environments including the Sabine River and swampland and the Neches River and associated swampland. Much of the work required air boat travel on the BLC. The work included site inspections and monitoring at multiple facilities associated.

Texas/Oklahoma

Staff Environmental Inspector. ONEOK Partners L.P.'s Sterling III Pipeline Project. Provided environmental compliance inspection by implementing the Construction Mitigation and Restoration Plan, the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan for Oklahoma and Texas for Environmental Protection Agency's 2012 Construction General Permit, and the Spill Prevention, Containment and Countermeasure Plan. The construction includes an approximately 550-mile long, 16-inch diameter natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline that will connect ONEOK Partners’ Mid-Continent NGL infrastructure to similar facilities located on the Texas Gulf Coast. The Sterling III Pipeline will originate in Medford, Oklahoma, and extend south through central Oklahoma and eastern Texas to ONEOK Partners’ storage and fractionation facilities at Mont Belvieu, Texas. I am assigned to Spread 3 (88 miles) Pontotoc, Johnston, and Bryan Counties, Oklahoma (within the American Burrowing Beetle habitat area) and Spread 6A (56 miles) Houston, Trinity and Polk Counties, Texas.

Scranton, Pennsylvania Area

Environmental Inspector. Environmental compliance oversight of the layout and construction of the 37 mile underground 16"/20" gathering pipeline crossing Broome County, NY and Susquehanna County, PA under permit of NY DEC and PA DEP, respectively. Inspected all phases of construction but with a focus on activity involved with tie-in of resource crossings (streams and wetlands), cleanup, and restoration work (implementing Bluestone Gas Corporation's ROW Restoration Plan). Met regularly with representatives of both Price Gregory (contractor), URS Corporation (environmental oversight), and Spection, LLC (utility and craft inspection). In addition, prepared and provided daily reports, photographic logs and SWPPP inspection reports to URS and Chief Environmental Inspector.

Greater San Diego Area

Monitor construction activity by fulfilling the requirements of Mitigation Monitoring, Compliance and Reporting Program under third-party observation by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and the BLM. Work involves daily breeding and rare bird surveys conducted throughout the day during construction monitoring, and to communicate daily with Lead Avian Biologist to report on new breeding bird observations, and to determine any mitigation requirements such as bird-buffer areas. Key avian species of concern for the project region include (but not limited to) Least Bell's Vireo, Southwestern Willow Flycatcher, Coastal California Gnatcatcher, Burrowing Owl, and the Golden Eagle. Other wildlife of special interest include the Peninsular Big Horned Sheep, bat nursery colonies, Quino Checkerspot Butterfly, Flat-tailed Horn Lizard, Barefoot Banded Gecko, and the Arroyo Toad. Additional duties include the relocation of wildlife from the local work site including potentially dangerous reptiles (pit viper snake species) or relocation of wildlife in potential danger of work activities, identification of rare plant species of the region, fire watch, hazardous waste management, BMP and SWPPP compliance throughout phases of San Diego Power and Electric’s (SDG&E) 117-mile Sunrise Power Link Project.

Transcanada'S Keystone Pipeline, Wichita, Ks

Inspected Construction activities following the environmental protocol for TransCanada's Keystone Pipeline (Spread 10-C). Phases inspected included aspects of construction with habitat restoration (clean-up), tie-in crews, vegetation clearing, grading, and stormwater polution prevention (erosion control) on the spread. Work continued until project completion.

Cheyenne, Wyoming Area

• Operated marine radar equipment to to detect and collect data of migratory birds' and bats' activity to support studies involving proposed wind power sites in central Ohio.• Monitored greater sage grouse using radio telemetry to track brood and ground movements, conduct nest searches, lek counts, and maintained field data. Surveyed for pygmy rabbits and their burrow systems, and black-footed ferret surveys to document occurrence in areas selected for oil, gas, and wind energy development throughout Wyoming.• Conducted point-count breeding bird surveys and migratory bird surveys in North and South Dakota.• Compiled reports for a wide variety of studies involving wind energy development and its relationship with wildlife (mainly migratory birds and bats).

Wyoming

Conducted wildlife surveys and monitoring, habitat mapping, and research data collection in association with oil and gas exploration and development in Wyoming, Montana and Colorado. Bozeman, Mt

• Conducted fieldwork to support research for the Montana State University Ecology Department for an AMARESCO EIS. Used Raytheon marine radar technology and mortality survey techniques to monitor migratory bird trends and movement to determine the impact of a proposed wind power farm. Assisted in designing a radar platform for a conventional vehicle.

New Mexico

• Conducted wildlife surveys and nest monitoring of ferruginous hawks, golden eagles, Swainson’s hawks, burrowing owls and black-tailed prairie dogs. The projects included aircraft raptor surveys and monitoring, ground monitoring, banding, landowner outreach and site assessments. • Responsible for pilot research at Armendaris Ranch to determine the importance of existing prairie dog colonies to foraging raptors and electrocution mortality along power lines. • Conducted bat surveys and monitoring in southwest New Mexico. This included abandoned mine tunnel surveys, mist-netting, handling and processing bats. • Assisted with injured or trapped birds at construction sites and/or capturing and handling raptors and other difficult birds, such as sand-hill cranes.• Conducted and managed environmental education programs with the use of wild, captive raptors. • Monitored, surveyed, trapped and banded northern spotted owls to determine presence/absence and status of territory and reproduction.. • Monitored forest carnivores and other small mammals to determine presence/absence with the use of baited track plate boxes. • Assisted fisheries biologists with construction and maintenance of traps and weirs for processing fish and aquatic amphibians. • Cruised timber stands for the purpose of inventory and habitat classification. • Conducted follow-up monitoring for raptor sightings and nesting activity.
