Over the last 25 years I have planned, budgeted and executed most types of broadcast event.I spent the majority of my career in engineering positions before moving into technical management. My understanding of all aspects of broadcasting is very good. Having worked in all genres from sports to reality and everything in between, I know how to put any broadcast project together no matter the complexity or scale. Still learning everyday, meeting new people and finding new ways of doing things. Having worked on the largest and smallest of events I know it’s not always the big projects that offer the greatest challenges.Coordinating large crews in various situations requires good humour and confidence in decision making. We all have deadlines and objectives and I’m pleased to say I haven’t missed one yet. Dealing with venues, host broadcasters and various authorities requires skills in liaison but also a single minded approach that is not put off by interpersonal or practical obstacles.I deal with clients in a professional, personal manner. I manage expectations when they need to be, but seldom find instances when exactly what is requested cannot be achieved. There is always a way to deliver... we just have to find it!
