Essential Functions and Basic Duties1.Perform analysis, tuning, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues/problems with Banner’s network and network devices while maintaining effective communication with both end users and technical staff. This includes on-call support.2.Overall responsibility of the VoIP communications infrastructure and the reliability and voice quality within the system3.Monitor, maintain and administer the health of the corporate-wide network infrastructure by performing network analysis, capacity planning and testing4.Develops and recommends strategies for network growth, network high-availability, security, and enhancements by maximizing functionality of network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.5.Advise and make recommendations to management concerning infrastructure and related LAN/WAN issues6.Assist with the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and planning of server virtualization and Storage Area Network environments7.Documentation and accuracy of Banner’s DR Policy for the network and rollover server environment8.Assist with the development and implementation of the technical architectures within the network infrastructure
