I serve as a road group project manager in our Merrillville, IN office. I am responsible for managing design, schedule, and budget for both local and federally funded roadway and drainage projects. This includes mentoring, directing, and supporting several design staff both within and outside the Merrillville office throughout project development. I communicate both big picture and key details with Clients in order to provide the highest quality product while maintaining schedule and budget. In addition to technical oversight, I develop project proposals, contracts, and purchase orders and administer monthly project revenue and billings. I work with a wide range of clients including municipalities, counties, and INDOT.

Civil Engineer in DLZ Public Works (Water) Division. Work tasks include design and preparation of construction plans, project specifications, and cost estimates for stormwater, water distribution, sanitary sewers, pump stations & forcemains, roadway, and site projects. Frequently prepare project proposals and agreements and lead coordination between the client and design team. Other project experience includes roadway design, stormwater studies & modeling, and stormwater reviews for various levels of local and state government.

Performed design and drafting tasks for various Land Development and Municipal Engineering Projects. Became familiar with AutoCAD and general engineering practices (site grading, stormwater management, utility layout, etc.)

During the summers of 2004 and 2005, I interned with Teng & Associates. My primary role was construction inspection of various roadway elements of US-45 Lagrange Road from 111th Street to Archer Road in Justice, IL and I-80/94 from IL-394 to Indiana State Line in Lansing, IL respectively.
