About Greg Lough

Greg is a professional firefighter with the City of Ottawa, Chair of the Fire Dynamics Working Group and a Lead Instructor. Under the auspices of a DRDC-CSSP grant, Ottawa Fire was instrumental in the development of a validated, evidence based fire dynamics training curriculum. The FKTP (From Knowledge to Practice) curriculum is available to fire services worldwide. Greg's previous assignments include postings to HazMat team as a Technician/CBRNE specialist and approx 10 years with the swift water/ice rescue team. He has also been involved in the development of several projects and initiatives within the Ottawa Fire Service and continues to work collaboratively with both corporate and external partners and agencies. Greg is also an Adjunct Instructor at the Ontario Fire College.
