As a respected disability service provider, HELP supported people with disability under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Whether it is day support, assistance in the home, respite for families or community access – HELP tailored their support to individual needs as part of providing whole-of-life support. With 25 residential properties across the Brisbane region, HELP's 'Allamanda Disability Housing' provided independent living opportunities for individuals with disability. HELP's 'McIntyre Centre' horse riding school for the disabled was the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere, and provided a solution to a major community need aiming to improve the physical, social and mental health of children and adults with disability through equine-assisted therapy, sport and recreational programs. -
