Senior Project Engineer (Contractor)
CurrentI set up G Luczak to deliver civil engineering and reinforced concrete expertise to the clients in the marine, construction and mining industries through the UK, such as Bachy Soletanche, PC Harrington, Network Rail, Sirius Minerals & Byrne Bros.• Reporting to various Project Managers and typically managing site engineers, construction managers and foreman to deliver grouting and concrete repairs for clients in the Marine, Mining and Building Sectors. • Directly liaising with Clients and operational teams to plan and manage daily construction activities. • Programming of hydro demolition, spray concrete and installation of complex cathodic protection.• Managing resources, including materials sourcing, purchasing, staffing and plant hire.• Implementing safe system of work, production and revision of risk assessment and method statements.• Controlling all non-conformances, including recording, proposing and supervising both resolution and preventative measures to a standard satisfactory to all parties.• Liaising with Designers to devise technical solutions and allow implementation of design changes on site. • Implementing and overseeing effective Quality Assurance systems, ensuring that all works are completed to a standard satisfactory to all parties throughout construction. • Programming and recording daily progress of work on site (SPHINX Software).Below is a list of contracting positions with key clients.
