Key to the role was practicing strong critical thinking and sound judgment skills. Some of my duties included addressing tactical and strategic supply chain issues, developing analytics, systems and data management capabilities, responsible for project management of Distribution Centre relocations and training and testing, developing SOP for warehouse training, conducting stocktakes and working with multiple divisions including both NZ and AU in developing and implementing new systems, best practices and other optimisations in order to grow the business.

Key to the role was maintaining a high degree of attention to detail and practicing good communication skills. Some of my duties included overseeing the showroom and warehouse builds, hiring, training and managing staff, working with the sales team, purchasing stock and responsible for the project management of new showroom and customer projects which include liaising with customers, builders and sub-contractors.

Some of my duties included providing training and coaching of associates, anticipating and forecasting staffing needs, collaborating with the sales team, ensuring the security and safety measures as related to receiving/stocking of merchandise and adhering to and enforcing all company policies.

Some of my duties included hiring, training and supervising all associates, managing the placement of all new products and the movement of stock from smaller Auckland Distribution Centre, accountable for receiving, storage, counting, accuracy, all movement and security of the inventory and implementing new programs and practices effectively and on a timely basis to assist in the smooth operation of the branch.

My role focused on promoting company products to the existing customer base and to potential new customers. Key to the role was practicing strong communication and negotiation skills. Some of my duties included communicating sales and product data to customers, meeting yearly sales budget, linking all promotions and projects in conjunction with any current marketing strategy and promote them to customers, understanding the specific needs and business practices of the customers to appropriately promote products and responding to the aims and strategies of the Customer Service, Goods and Marketing teams.

Some of my duties included streamlining and optimising day-to-day operations, responsible for container devanning, picking, packing and dispatch operations, conducting warehouse stocktakes, developing robust, trusting relationships with key stakeholders to improve the Warehousing productivity and supporting the operational strategy and innovation to drive business goals for revenue, operational performance, and profitability.
