Passionate, driven and a highly motivated hospitality professional. With over 20 years in the hospitality industry I find success through inspiring and motivating both my associates and leader's. My greatest strength is building dynamic teams, and I do this through loyalty, trust and finding leaders with strong values. I am a firm believer in surrounding yourself with great people, and I have been extremely honored to have worked with some amazing leaders in my career. Like many others, I like to hire leader's with different strengths to balance out the team, however I want leader's that will debate my ideas, challenge me and challenge each other, without that we cannot have success. My 20 years were spent in hotels, all in Food & Beverage but also had a chance to spend time on the room’s side as Director of Rooms which truly rounded me into a great hotelier. I love to say you can find me in my office from 6am-7am, and then again 5pm-7pm in between that you can find me in my other office "The Floor". What keeps me grounded is family, my amazing dog “Parker”, and my commitment to fitness, and my new found love for CrossFit.

As a General Manager at a All-Suite Hotel with 106 rooms the General Manager ran all aspects of the operation, from Human Resources, Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing and overseeing all operational departments as well. Was responsible for the 2019 hotel budget, presented to the Marriott leadership team, as well during my time I organized and planned the fully pool and lobby renovations for the ownership group. Worked with the designers from Marriott and our ownership group, and a close working relationship with the contractor throughout the process.As well our hotel was #1 in Guest Satisfaction in Eastern Canada and we maintained that ranking for the entire 2018 and 2019.I became part of the community by joining the Chamber of Commerce, working with local charities and ensuring hat our hotel was a key contributor within the community and continuing to get our associates involved in the community. -

Over my time at Sheraton Centre we were able to transform the banquet experience of 20 to 3000 people into a restaurant experience. We were one of the first to produce small plates for large corporate events and bring the restaurant experience into banquets. In my final year at the hotel we were able to produce the highest profitability ever at the hotel within Food & Beverage at 42% F&B profitability. One of my greatest achievements at the hotel was transforming our associates and leaders to be one of the most dynamic teams in Toronto. With some leadership re-tooling, training and mentorship we were able to build an extremely strong F&B team and produce some of the highest leadership satisfactions scores within Marriott. Also was part of the construction committee during our full renovation of our largest ballroom and transformed it into a state of the art facility. -
