I was responsible for administering pre- and post-assessments to determine students’ skills levels and academic progress. I followed the curriculum set forth by Boston Public Schools, including i-Ready, Expeditionary Learning, and Number Worlds.

Lynn English High School

Provide support to the Lynn English High School's ESL Department wherever needed. Provide small group and one-on-one tutoring, classroom pullout, help guide two literature units with two different classes of beginner level English Language Learners, and teach a period of history to a Newcomers class.

Serve as a graduation coach, tutor, and assistant teacher for the Lynn English High School ESL Department and dropout prevention team. I student taught at South High in Worcester, MA through the Clark University Master's of Arts in Teaching program. I taught three classes of 9th graders in World History II, roughly the French Revolution to September 11th.
