CurrentManage a wide variety of legal and commercial issues for Composite Materials. Primary emphasis in the areas of general contract and commercial law, government contracts (as prime and subcontractor), foreign entity formation, intellectual property protection, real property purchases and leases, export compliance, and dispute resolution. Structured, negotiated and finalized a wide variety of transactions including: general terms agreements, intellectual property licensing agreements, sales and procurement contracts, consulting agreements, employee confidentiality agreements, and settlement and release agreements. Manage outside counsel and provide litigation support. Support executive leadership team in driving corporate policy changes and ensuring company wide compliance. Key Accomplishments:Structured, negotiated and finalized a $1.1B requirements agreement with a major prime contractor to the U.S. government. Largest agreement, in dollars, in Composite Materials' history.Created and helped staff Composite Materials' first limited liability company in Russia. Worked with outside counsel to secure technology license agreements through the U.S. Dept. of State for export of technology to Russia.Prevented late delivery of products to a key customer under an important joint venture program by working with outside counsel in England and Germany to comply with EU and English/German export laws and regulations. Successfully negotiated with the U.S. government under an existing prime contract to avoid sanctions under DPAS orders.Received 4 Composite Materials Reward and Recognition awards for outstanding performance during 2009-2011. Received Composite Materials' highest level employee award - "Circle of Excellence" - in 2014.Participated in and graduated from Composite Materials' Advanced Leadership Training Program ("ANDES") in 2015.
