I have worked on the Sky campaign since then which is a sales orientated campaign focused on offering existing Sky customers contracts with Sky Mobile.

My role involved handling incoming phone enquiries from clients and customers and taking appropriate action to resolve problems. As required I also worked in the fulfilment team picking and packing orders. The reason for leaving was because the role was temporary.

I did several weeks work experience working at the Nottingham Post producing content under the supervision of guidance of the Entertainment Editor, Simon Wilson. By my second week I was trusted to write long form features that were used as leads in the weekend entertainment guide. I also interviewed a number of artists including Reverend and the Makers and the Boomtown Rats.

Gathered and wrote sharp copy to fill pages in a number of titles in the Derbyshire area. Work involved writing to word limits, finding and interviewing sources and working with press releases. I used social media to promote stories and to gather further sources and comment.

I originally did a week placement in the summer of 2014 during which I gathered footage for broadcast and wrote cues. I found this a challenge initially as my experience up to then was purely in writing. By the end of the week my audio and visual skill had improved considerably.At the end of September 2014 I started on an 8 month placement at Notts TV as part of my third year of study. During this time I have been involved in setting up and populating the Notts TV news website as well as helping in the production of live news programmes on a daily basis.
