About Greg Maxwell

Vice president of Global Supply Chain for Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems sector, a global provider, manufacturer and integrator of advanced, secure and agile software-defined systems and solutions. Our differentiated C4ISR and cyber solutions deliver timely, mission-enabling information and provide superior situational awareness and understanding to protect the U.S. and its global allies. In this role, Greg is responsible for the strategic, operational and administrative elements of supply chain strategy, acquisition and execution to include subcontracts, procurement and the socio economic business programs office. Greg leads 900 supply chain professionals in developing the supply chain strategy and managing supply chain execution of ($4B in material and services spend with 7000 suppliers. Prior to Northrop Grumman and its legacy companies, Greg spent 8 years with Raytheon culminating in 2011 as Director of Material Program Management for $1.3B Mission Support Operations business. In that role, he led 22 SCM professionals in managing all aspects of integrated supply chain with about $500M spend including international SCM with offices in Russia.From 2007 unitl 2010, Greg led a 15 member team responsible for providing SCM support to business development for new business pursuits including supply chain strategy, pricing, teaming, strategic sourcing, and proposal support. Greg also held positions at Raytheon responsible for SCM technology management; compliance, policy and training; SCM operations; and logistics and government property management. He led RTSC's Supply Chain transformation as part of RTSC’s overall restructuring in 2006. His professional experience includes both commercial and defense industries as well as several start-up ventures culminating as senior director of collaboration services at Exostar, an A&D ebusiness service provider owned by Raytheon, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, BAE SYSTEMS, and Rolls-Royce. Greg developed significant commercial industrial marketing and product management experience with Air Products.Greg's career started as a naval officer for eight years with a specialty in nuclear engineering and surface warfare, including a time at the Pentagon where he worked in strategic planning for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the Chief of Naval Operations. He has an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and is a US Naval Academy graduate.
