I am a Platoon Warrant Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces Transition Centre in Ottawa. I look after the morale and welfare of the 133 supported members assigned to my section Sergeants while handling any discipline and administrative issues. I often work closely with other Transition Centre staff providing insight on supported members during file reviews and Casualty Management team meetings.My main background is that of a Weapons Engineering Technician Manager with an extensive background in communication equipment with the Royal Canadian Navy. I am responsible for the corrective and planned maintenance activities of the weapons, radars, fire control systems, underwater systems, communications, and Combat Management Systems on board HMC ships, while managing personnel and meeting operational requirements in a very high-tempo environment at sea and when a ship is not at sea.
