Greg led a project to establish a new business systems delivery capability based out of India and to implement the standard Worley business platform across 20 countries and legal entities. At the time of writing, the project had successfully completed two of the four ‘waves’ of implementations.

Responsible for joint development and implemention a comprehensive strategy process across WorleyParsons. It included getting support from the main Board, leadership of strategy development and a regular cadence of review with the Board. The role also included the development and rollout of the new Sales and Marketing architecture in conjunction with the Global Sales and Marketing Team.

This business systems project was the biggest single business / IT project ever undertaken by WorleyParsons. The project upgraded the ERP system (GBS) from Oracle R11 to R12. This was implemented simultaneously across all 24 countries. The project was delivered successfully, below budget, with a seamless start-up.

Edmonton, Ab, Canada

Implemented a suite of projects and implemented cultural change at WorleyParsons Cord to transform them to deliver highly predictable EPC performance across the process and energy sector in western Canada. The improvements enabled Cord to consistently deliver top class project performance and perform at the highest level across WorleyParsons.

Reporting directly to the Chairperson of the WorleyParsons Board Audit & Risk Committee, Greg had responsibility to provide assurance to the Audit and Risk Committee and senior management that sound managerial control was achieved over all aspects of business operations and project delivery. Under Greg’s leadership the Internal Audit function was rated by the Institute of Internal Auditors as a top quartile performer.

Greg had the responsibility for the profitable performance of all aspects of the business operations covering business in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. The business included 1500 personnel across all four customer sector groups. The business grew substantially due to a focus on diversifying into the Minerals, Metals and Chemicals sector and securing significant revenue from global business. In 2008, the Victorian business won the prestigious Victorian Government Export Award in the Major Services category.
