Conceived and instituted Oily Waste Recycling Policy, researching and accessing vendors so that we now recycle 20 55-gallon barrels of rags and pig-mat, 12 55-gallon barrels of oil filters, and 800 gallons of waste oil per year. Have maintained a "zero recordable injuries" safety record.Organized and coordinated five-day outage involving five projects and three contractors.

Working aboard 110-ton eco-tour cruise ship, traveled; Idaho (approximately 15,000 miles of travel per year), ensuring compliant and safe operation of all systems. Administered preventive maintenance, environmental management protocol, safety management, and regulations through the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Centers for Disease Control. Supervised Assistant Engineer and operated/maintained diesel engines, generators and backup generators, salt and fresh water systems, sewage treatment plant, water making system, HVAC, pneumatics, fire suppression equipment, bridge electronics, AV equipment and associated subsystems. Forecast inventory and ordered parts/materials. Participated in annual dry dock maintenance, supervising projects allotted for three-four week time period in shipyard. Inspected external propulsion equipment, replaced electrodes, painted hull, and tested/maintained/repaired all systems. Also completed upgrades to guest living spaces. Interfaced with American Bureau of Shipping Inspectors and corrected any issues they noted; also supported two U.S. Coast Guard inspections each year. These inspections checked mechanical systems, overall vessel integrity, and documentation. There were also "sea trials" and safety drills to prove crew's readiness.Maintained a perfect "no fail" inspection record.
