Liaising with Fixed income / REPO (Repurchase Agreements) Trading Desk to ensure the timely and accurate affirmation of trades; coordinate with internal teams / external clients to establish / confirm details of trades or amend trade termsActively manage Trading Desk’s exposure in a live environment, diligently ensure that positions are correctly captured at the point of execution; Responsible for risk management within the team through use of quantitative checklists Liaising with MS Business Units on an ad hoc basis to identify and resolve issues, research / provide accurate trade data, and act as liaison point with various other teams within the Firm to resolve collateral / trade imbalances In conjunction with Global Trading Desks, monitor trade reconciliation, settlement, create data queries / models to monitor trade risks correlated to market indices, Monetary-Federal Reserve policy, counter-party risks Manage valuation models, marking to market various bespoke Repo / Swap transactions; based upon market dynamics Maintaining, developing, and improving current processes & procedures. Supporting the desk through system enhancements and regulatory or compliance queries; Confirm correct settlement; Develop / maintain various regulatory reports to comply with Firm, Compliance; compile data / create financial models to capture market intelligence.
