• Provide college-wide leadership and represent the institution internally and externally to assure fulfillment of the College’s mission, vision, and values. • Lead and oversee institutional and academic strategic planning; institutional research, reporting and effectiveness; and guide college-wide quality improvement initiatives to maximize student success. • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and deliver high quality instructional programs, academic support services, professional development opportunities, academic program reviews and appropriate instructional technology to assure programs meet the educational and economic needs of the region.• Engage business and community partners to strengthen the College’s external connections and advance institutional outreach.• Seek alternative sources of funding, collaborate with RCTC Foundation, and support the development of grant/funding proposals from governmental, public and private agencies.• Develop and enhance strategic partnerships with local and regional K-12 school districts and higher education institutions to create seamless pathways for students that lead to employment.• Lead and serve on internal councils and collective bargaining committees to maximize communication, collaboration and shared governance that enhances college climate and institutional effectiveness.• Serve as institutional Accreditation Liaison Officer.

• As chief academic officer, provide campus-wide leadership and direction for all academic related issues.
• Provide vision, leadership and supervision for 13 direct reports in the following areas: 10 academic division chairs, the director of academic excellence and distance learning, the executive director of academic relations, and the director of library services.

MACC provides educational programs and services at 5 locations, covering a 3,772 sq.mile service region, in the 16 northeast counties of Missouri.* Responsible for the leadership, maintenance and successful operation of all CTE degree and certificate programs, Adult Education and Literacy, Law Enforcement Training Center, Entrepreneurship and Business Development Center, Small Business and Technology Development Center, Workforce Development, Continuing Education and Career and Placement Services. * Provided oversight of CTE program curricula; course schedules; faculty selection, work load, supervision and evaluation; room assignments and utilization of instructional resources.* Oversaw budget development, maintenance and approval of expenditures.* Author, co-author and administrator of state and federal grants in excess of $23 million.Collected, interpreted, and presented data for the continuous evaluation and revision of CTE programs.* Pursued approval and accreditation of CTE programs as necessary and appropriate.* Assisted faculty and program leads in redeveloping, updating, and expansion of multiple programs, implementing web-synchronous instructional technology into programs resulting in a 57% increase in enrollment.* Supervised preparation and submission of all state and federal vocational funding reports.* Assisted in the establishment of instructional sites and programs within the service region.* Maintained active professional and committee membership in local, state and national organizations.* Engaged and partnered with external constituents to promote program and institutional growth.

Department Head and coordinator of multiple programs in the technical, creative and performing arts: Photographic Technology, Digital Graphic Design, 3D Digital Animation, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Music, and Theater.* Provide leadership and direction for faculty and staff in the DCAC to ensure opportunities for student success.* Responsible for the development and maintenance of curriculums and programs in the area and the scheduling, oversight and evaluation of area faculty and staff.* Design and provide professional development opportunities for faculty in areas such as teaching strategies and techniques, course assessment, technology and distance education resources.* Work with area and regional high schools for the creation of articulation, dual credit and concurrent enrollment opportunities and agreements.* Advise and mentor DCAC faculty and students.* Prepare and provide direct oversight for all DCAC budgets and assist with the creation of and provide oversight for state and federal grant opportunities.* Prepare and submit class schedules for programs in the area.* Responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the photographic technology labs, photography studio and equipment, Macintosh computer lab, 3-D animation lab, Henry Campbell Art Building, Rohovec Theater, music labs in the Tays Special Events Center and network servers and raids. * Design and disseminate DCAC marketing materials and promote programs and the institution in local community, and at the regional and state level.* Prepare annual academic and vocational reports for: internal usage, NMSU Las Cruces, NMSU Board of Regents, The New Mexico Higher Education Department, and Perkins accountability.* Serve on institutional, system, and state committees as appropriate.

Created “Center of Excellence” curriculum in Graphic Design and Digital Media. Worked with the Royal Prince of Al-Medina Region and the Saudi Ministry of Education to create a tender for the introduction of Graphic Design and Digital Media programs to their local college system.

* Created “Center of Excellence” in Communications Technology & Graphic Communications. * Designed preliminary curriculum and assisted local instructors in curriculum development to meet GATF & BTECH standards for Communications Technology & Graphic Communications.* Designed and installed $500,000 digital media/pre-press teaching lab at BTI, Manama, Bahrain.* Provided essential training on the supplied graphic equipment, covered basic operation and maintenance procedures, basic trouble shooting, and how to use equipment.* Developed complete training manual that summarized the training program.* Provided professional training course on hardware & software for the lab, how to use software to score learning objectives stipulated in the GATF curriculum and the BTECH curriculum.

* Developed preliminary program curriculum and provided full consultancy services to include: labor market assessment; knowledge, skills and understanding needed by graduates; program objectives and course of study; compilation of all draft work for Ministry of Education and Technical Project Director; and revision of all materials based on feedback for creation of final report.* Created required equipment lists and detailed lab space, and identified potential sources of equipment available in the Region of Yemen. * Designed potential lab assignments, workshops and field experiences for future students.* Specified textbooks, reference materials and other learning resources available in the Region of Yemen. * Prepared detailed academic activities including sample lesson plans.* Assisted Yemeni department heads and deans in establishing procedures for academic management, including: assistance in assessing current status and needs, sharing of procedures used by department heads in similar U.S. positions and linking activities to the project specific training.* Developed relations with Yemen Ministry of Education, local college administration and local business owners for future student internship locations and possible employment opportunities.* Interviewed and selected Yemini faculty, developed individualized programs of study for selected candidates to study in U.S. to build a well-rounded faculty base for program.
