My instruction has a focus on building players confidence to enjoy the game of golf at any level. To achieve this I help the student create swing habits based on students natural strengths. Each student comes with certain strengths that set them apart from others from the experienced player to those that have played little or no golf before. Building sound fundamentals around these strengths will help students achieve their goals in golf. Instruction will be focused around the capability of each player. With drills, routines, practice plans, and play strategies each student will work to achieve a more consistent process and result. All levels from beginners to serious tournament players are welcome. I come with 25 years of teaching experience working at fine facilities. I am currently affiliated with Blue Heron Hills Golf Club and Ravenwood Golf Club. For thirteen years I developed and ran Bristol Harbour Resort's Junior and Adult Instructional programs. Prior to that I was the Head Golf Professional at Glen Ridge Country Club In New Jersey. Before that, I worked under Craig Harmon at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester New York. This is where I refined my skills for teaching under one of the top 50 teachers in the world. My teaching has continued to evolve over the years to help students gain a better understanding of what will help them enjoy the game of golf.

BRISTOL HARBOUR RESORT is a Robert Trent Jones golf course established in 1972, Marina established in 1974, Clubhouse and Hotel established in 1999, Cottages established 2010.As the Director of Golf and Operations I managed the resort with over 100 employees, 7,000 room nights, 20,000 rounds of golf, 150 marina boats, over 300 customers for water and sewer services, 90 weddings, and 150,000 meals served annually. My position included part ownership of resort, and cottages as well as building strong relations with community members and BHVA Board which was imperative for cohesion between resort and local community members.I directed the following area managers: Golf Course Superintendent, Golf Shop Manager, Hotel Manager, Water and Sewer Superintendent, Restaurant Managers and Financial Officer. Annually developed and managed the six million dollar budget for all departments of the resort. Developed reports and tools used in forecasting sales and cash flow ending with comparative actuals. Directed all marketing, sales plans, pricing and packages for each area of the resort. Facilitated multiple website revisions including a branding program.I developed and implemented a capital budget for upgrades in excess of $200,000 each yearsome of which include: marina docks (2015, 2013, 2010 & 2008), new fleet of golf cars (2015, 2012 & 2006), built five rental golf cottages valued at $600,000 each (2009), built a 10,000 sq. ft. restaurant addition (2008), installed on cart UPLINK GPS system (2005), and installed new facility Point of Sale system (2004).My golf responsibilities included Providing over 300 annual lessons: private lessons, golf schools and junior golf programs. In addition I was a participant on the Board of Directors, Golf Committee, and Greens Committee. The Famed East Course has been host to many Major Golf Tournaments including the Ryder Cup, US Open, PGA Championship and US Amateur Championship. As an Assistant Golf Professional I helped Craig Harmon, Head Professional in all golf related club activities including responsibilities relating to 1998 US Amateur Championship. During the Championship I was directly involved with corporate outings, helping with buying plan for pro shop and assisting U.S.G.A officials. In addition to my golf club management activities I had significant involvement with individual golf instruction (Well over 100 each year) and group instruction including a very active Junior golf program.
