After three years of financial leadership at Hillrom's flagship manufacturing site and time with our Global PMO, transitioned into this lead finance role within Hillrom's Aspen Surgical business in Summer 2017. Joined as part of revamped leadership team brought in to help stabilize and turnaround the Aspen business, drove transformation across all fronts: dramatically improving operational and customer KPIs across the board while realizing +800 bps gross margin and +1400 bps EBIT improvement over 2 yrs. As the Aspen business improved and Hillrom's strategic direction shifted, then helped lead Hillrom's divestiture initiative, ultimately leading Aspen to join forces with Audax private equity... Leveraging broad finance and operational experiences, slid over to this (another newly created) leadership role as Hill-Rom's Program Mgmt Office activities are increasing. Working with our Global Supply Chain executives and operational leadership to provide strategy, project and process-oriented execution, reporting and intel provision, along with M&A due diligence and acquired business integration / related change management.

An active leader within the local Supply Chain management team, responsible for FP&A supporting all facets (sourcing, capital investments, production, inventory, and distribution to customers) of Hill-Rom's largest mfg site. Additional focus on detailed Continuous Improvement activity measurement and longer term planning and strategies. Expanded Ops Role (Interim): To help plug gap amidst local mgmt org change, expanded scope of responsibility to manage $20M Logistics organization for 6 mo interim period. Accelerating change to improve use of data and process evolution to yield cost efficiency while maintaining high customer service levels. Areas of focus: e-tools to capture driver telematics, optimize route scheduling, improve fleet management and capital strategy, evaluate alternative modes of transport, etc.

Repatriated to US after completion of EU Controller expat assignment and shifted focus to this Intl Acctg Director role. Supported Hill-Rom's Int'l Division Finance and Accounting functions through leadership of (i) design and implementation of compliance program across division, (ii) technical accounting matters, (iii) CI initiatives and (iv) FP&A activities.When Hill-Rom opted to acquire a German company, took the opportunity to return to Europe to lead the financial integration of Voelker into the Hill-Rom group. While the role started as a mid-term integration project, it evolved into an extended stay in Germany to provide ongoing Executive Finance leadership for the combined organization, covering $120M Central Europe Commercial region, 2 German manufacturing sites and related R&D activities.

After Hillenbrand SEC Reporting Director role and completion of our spin-off, transitioned to this newly created role within the company to lead our European Acctg org -- from Europe. Thus, moved to UK for this expat assignment. In addition to leading our accounting functions throughout Western Europe, also played a lead role in the accounting integration of acquired (Swedish) company.

Transferred from Division Controller role at Batesville Casket to this newly created parent/Corp position to lead SEC reporting and SOX compliance initiatives for the Hillenbrand group (including Batesville). Besides corporate wide technical accounting topics and routine reporting and filings, played a significant role in the execution of a spin-off of significant operating division and related Form 10 filing (comparable to IPO).

During 6.5 years with the firm, quickly developed skillset and progressed to increasing levels of responsibility. Promoted to Senior Associate after just 1.5 yrs and to Manager at 4.5 yr mark. Worked with clients of various sizes and industries, although spent majority of time working with Middle Market industrial products and then Healthcare clientele.
