Greg Mullis is the Chief Operating Officer for Tri-CoGo, an internet service and VOIP phone provider formed in 2021 to serve rural customers in Middle Georgia. He has 30 years of cooperative utility industry experience, serving in numerous power supply, economic development, business development, information technology, marketing and communications capacities.Greg previously served as Senior Vice President, VP of Corporate Services at Tri-County EMC in Gray, Georgia. Greg joined Tri-County EMC in 1991 as a Member Service Representative. Greg led a small but growing team of professionals with years of experience in retail internet service, information technology, and marketing, in the formation of Tri-CoGo. With a public announcement coming in March 2021, the new ISP proudly met it's goal of providing retail service to the first customers in August 2021. In July 2023, Tri-CoGo reached 5,000 subscribers and continues to be one of Georgia's fastest growing ISPs.An accomplished marketer and communicator, Greg has conceptualized many award winning branding and marketing campaigns, earning numerous Addies and NRECA Spotlight on Excellence awards. An accomplished speaker and spokesman, Greg is comfortable and experienced before any sized audience. His photography has appeared internationally, gracing the covers of numerous publications.A native of Eastman, Georgia, Greg graduated from Mercer University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Greg has served as the Chairman of the Development Authority of Jones County (2001-2016) and also served on the Board of Directors for the Jones County/Gray Chamber of Commerce and the Mercer University College of Liberal Arts Board of Directors. Greg is a 1994 graduate of Jones County Leadership 2000, a 1998 graduate of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development, and a 2004 graduate of Leadership Georgia. In 2008, Greg was named to Georgia Trend Magazine’s “Forty Under Forty, Georgia’s Best and Brightest”.While his hobbies include golf and photography, Greg spends a considerable portion of his time as a musician. Since 1998, Greg has toured the southeast with The Grapevine, an oldies rock band based in Macon. Greg also volunteers with community theatre with the Jones County Arts, where he serves as Technical Director and musician. Greg and his wife, Lisa, attend Gray Community Church, where he serves as a musician and tech volunteer..
