CurrentProject Manage various Construction Projects across North Queensland.Manage and oversee effective teams in a range of infrastructure projects including, roadworks, drainage structures and bridges.Responsible for:Leading effective teams to meet project and business objectives.Management of construction projects including monitoring time, cost and quality Preparation of project estimates and construction programsReviewing programs, prioritisation of work activities and resourcesMonitor and review project progress including budget performanceIdentify and implement risk mitigation strategiesMonitor construction processes, production rates and resource utilisationUtilise various management systems for projects and implement project management strategies and techniquesIdentify constructability issues and provide advice to clients during the development of projectsGeneration of integrated project Management Plans specific to contractual requirements.Contract management including identification of variations, contract correspondence and general contractual requirements.Initiating procurement of materials and services and managing their contractsManagement of resources and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient delivery of projects.Coaching and mentoring of other team members.
