I have spent the previous 8 years bringing municipal infrastructure projects from an idea to reality. What I came to understand working on large and small infrastructure projects is that understanding all the details is very important. Being curious and asking questions about the details paid dividends because it led me to new ways of approaching the problem. What excites me is examining a process or project and to figure out how all its components come together to achieve the objective. I believe incremental changes can add up to significant improvements and love to find the ways that a process or project can be improved. Beyond my professional life, I love landscape and cityscape photography. After finding a subject to photography, I will spend hours adjusting the composition until it is just right. Making small adjustments and waiting for the right light is what makes the difference between a good photo and a great one. I want to take this detailed oriented approach to solve the problems of today and tomorrow. There is a parallel between photography and my approach to work, small adjustments added together improve the result tremendously.
