Responsible for leading or supervising warehouse department and staff. Review workload and assigns tasks to employees. Professionally trains and evaluates employee performance; recommends or initiates promotions, transfers or disciplinary actions.Ensure optimal utilization of all warehouse resources, including but not limited to, space, equipment and people.Oversees process to ensure inventory and orders are completed accurately. Measures work performance; compares results to objectives; takes corrective actions Maintains and prepares various records and reports. Enforces company policies and safety procedures. Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are job requirements. The ability to get along with others and non-violence is a job requirement to consistently promote a positive team environment. ▪ In charge of all return center operations including but not limited to improving productivity, return goods flow, effective administration, and all return center process. ▪ Conduct long-term, complex logistic studies throughout the return supply chain, gather data, determine methodology, and analyze data while assisting in implementing findings in order to maintain an efficient operation.▪ Deliver daily updates to the Director of the Customer Returns Facilities to ensure contract compliance in the areas of quality, service, cost and staffing.▪ Analyze, plan and forecast associate staffing and equipment needs at prescribed operational level and provide recommendations which effectively and efficiently address operational problems. ▪ Collaborated with store district and vendor relations managers to address issues, resolve problems, and report on return logistics findings in order to inform management.▪ Define software changes and ensures that the company and the third party vendor systems are functioning properly according to desired results/guidelines. ▪ Monitor and evaluate KPI’s for the third party return centers in order to ensure profits are maximized for all return merchandise. ▪ Ensure that all expense controls within the facility are in place and adhered to. Analyze and prepare monthly and annual operating expenses; measure productivity and quality. ▪ Assure compliance with all company policies and procedures within the facility. ▪ Successfully complete special projects as assigned by Director and/or National Operations Manager. ▪ Provide support for projects and initiatives sponsored by SLS Institute or Supply Chain Park.
