Provide Knowledge Management Consulting to the Reece Australia Group. A key requirement is the development of a Knowledge Management Strategy that supports its strategic objectives and its businesses operating in over 500 branches which are continuing to expand and diversify.The overall objective is to ensure the right information is provided to the right people at the right time to enable employees to better perform their jobs and service its growing customer base. Following a review of the knowledge and information sharing culture and practices across the various parts of the organisation and its content management systems and processes, a Knowledge Management Strategy was then developed. The Design Thinking model was used to gain insights through observations, interactions and discovery sessions across the various parts of the business to identify opportunities and new initiatives. These were then prioritised by potential business benefits and then prototypes developed and piloted in the branch network.The range of initiatives being developed and implemented will assist the organisation in the capture, sharing and transfer of knowledge across the various business units that comprise the Reece Group. This will include the ability for staff to access remote experts and product knowledge to better service its customers. A redesign of Reece’s Policy & Procedures will provide its employees with more engaging content including greater use of video and enable faster and direct access to the information through the intranet. These new initiatives will assist the organisation’s employees by ensuring the right information and knowledge is captured and shared when and where it is needed and provide an even better service to its expanding customer base.

Successfully implemented a cloud based enterprise wide Knowledge Management solution for the Insurance Australia Group. This followed an initial pilot with 300 users and was then progressively rolled out Australia wide to over 6,000 users.Provided Knowledge Management consulting and developed strategies with the various business units across the group for capturing and sharing knowledge. This included the implementation of a a Content Champion network, facilitating focus groups, running training sessions for content developers and content owners and the development and implementation of a content governance framework.As Knowledge Management Team Leader, the role involved the recruitment and development of a team of content developers and knowledge management consultants working across states in the Australia wide implementation of the system.

Responsible for the corporate Internet sites, Intranet, Broker Portal & Collaborative systems across the CGU Group. Technical Competency Manager for the implementation and support of the following technologies: SharePoint, Lotus Notes & SalesForce.
