Not mutch happening in Stoke them days!!! so my 1st job was on a YTS Scheme in construction. I was picking up less than 28 quid a week and paying for my bus fare, and then still managed give me mum a tenner board.I then served my time on the tools from decorating, to shop fitting and a window fitter. When I was on the tools, even when I was only 17 years of age it was my natural thing to do by always assessing the work to be done, then inventing a better way to get the job done.
