More than 20 years of very diverse and strong experience in managing an IT operations organization and the business and processes around this critical team. I have a technical background in Windows Server OS, VMware, SANs, ITIL implementation and disaster recovery. My management experience has provided me exposure to the highly regulated nuclear power industry, SOX compliant business, the healthcare industry and local government along with the many diverse requirements around these high-profile systems. My teams have improved the uptime of each organization, the reliability and support of the infrastructure while decreasing the downtime for the business. I have implemented a vulnerability program which assessed and improved the overall security posture of the infrastructure including servers, network, firewall and applications. This effort reduced our security exposure and risk in half or better in just a few short months.I have built and managed the storage and virtualized infrastructure around nuclear power, local government and healthcare systems while maintaining the SLA and uptime requirements defined by my customers. I have been the lead technical architect and manager for teams that operate the datacenter servers and networks and have experience training and developing support staff to assist in these responsibilities. I am responsible for forecasting and planning budget expenditures and hardware lifecycle for the servers, network and infrastructure in the datacenters and networks I manage. I am pursuing a continued career with growth in management of systems and staff where my expertise has been built.
